Should Sachin Retire?
भारतीय क्रिकेट संघात आता सचिन तेंडुलकर नको, असे भारतीय क्रिकेट मंडळातील अनेक पदाधिकाऱ्यांचे मत होते; पण मांजराच्या गळ्यात घंटा बांधण्यास कोणीही तयार नव्हते. आता ग्रेग चॅपेल यांनी हे काम सोपे केले आहे. भारतीय क्रिकेट मंडळातील सूत्रांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार- चॅपेल हे सचिन तेंडुलकरला कायमचा निरोप देण्याची शिफारस करणार आहेत.
गेल्या काही वर्षातला आपला हरपलेला सूर लक्षात घेऊन सचिन तेंडुलकरने आता निवृत्त व्हावे, असा सल्ला ऑस्ट्रेलियाचे माजी दिग्गज फलंदाज इयन चॅपेल यांनी दिला आहे. सचिनने आपला जो लौकिक उभा केला होता त्या लौकिकानुसार सचिनकडून गेल्या तीन-चार वर्षांत खेळ झालेला नाही. कारकीर्द वाढविण्यासाठी तो आता प्रयत्नशील आहे, असे इयन चॅपेल यांनी म्हटले आहे.
मुंबईतील एका सायंदैनिकातील स्तंभलेखात इयन चॅपेल यांनी सचिनला निवृत्तीचा हा सल्ला दिला आहे.

or jaysurya they playing very freely but not sachin.
i think he is worried about
his position in team
but he have to play naturally

Sachin should retire he shouldn't make an issue about it instead be a sport and retire he has been a good cricketer but lets face the fellow has not been good game for a while now.
Sachin should retire now.....Instead of throwing out of the team. he should go out with pride.
It is time that not only Sachin,but few other jaded senior cricketers,who have had their heydays & have contributed significantly to Indian cricket for several years, retire gracefully on their own without having to face the humiliation & ignominy of either their erstwhile fans/detractors/coaches or other nation's players unsolicitedly advising openly as well as covertly to retire!
The somewhat unsavoury hyped up debate in the media is not conducive to their well-being in future,if due to lucre of continued gains,they continue to hang on to the team indefinitely, awaiting the unfortunate stage, when they may be unceremoniously ejected!
We have enjoyed their superb cricket,basked in their glory,respect them despite the recent world cup setback & would wish them all the best in whatever new roles they choose,while remembering the eminent positions they have carved in the annals of Indian as well as world cricket!
sachin 'ALWAYS' and I repeat 'ALWAYS' fails in crunch games...especially when we bat second....tyala hakalun dila pahije...
सचिन महानच आहे व राहील!
ज्या निनावी गृहस्थाने ता.६ April,07 ला 'सचिनला हाकलून दिला पाहिजे' अशी असभ्य भाषा सकाळ ब्लोगवर लिहिण्याचा मुर्खपणा व भ्याडपणा केला आहे त्यालाच ब्लोगवरून 'ताबडतोब हाकलून द्यावे' असे माझे मत आहे.कारण त्याला सचिन एक महान खेळाडू आहे याचा [व त्याला स्वतः मराठी असण्याचा] अभिमान तर सोडाच पण जाणीवेचा पूर्ण विसर पडलेला दिसत आहे.प्रत्येक खेळामध्ये खेळणा-या खेळाडूंवर कधी ना कधी अशी पाळी येउ शकते.आपले भारतीय क्रिकेटर्स जेव्हा चांगले खेळतात तेव्हां कांही प्रेक्षक त्यांना डोक्यावर घेतात व यातलेच काही प्रेक्षक कधी दुर्दैवाने खेळाडूंना अपयश आले तर त्यांचा पाणउतारा करतात व त्यांच्याबाबतीत असभ्य भाषा वापरतात हे अतिशय चूक आहे.सचिनचे गेल्या १६-१७ वर्षांतले योगदान व वर्तन अत्यंत उच्च श्रेणीचे आहे यात शंका नाही!
त्याने यापुढे खेळावे का निवृत्ती घ्यावी याचा निर्णय BCCI घेइलच.तर इतरांनी आपल्या विचारांत व लिखाणांत तारतम्य पाळावे!
I fully agree with captsubh because even in games played at the highest national/international levels,Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest'very much applies.
If Sachin does not voluntarily retire due to his continuing bad form,the BCCI may still take the decision like they have already taken to rest him for the Bangla Desh tour.
The unfortunate part is that new young CONSISTENT players of his & say Kapil or Dravid's caliber have NOT BEEN FOUND & the recent entrants have not been able to make a significant mark!
All the same,just as every wave has a trough,it also has a crest & it may not be long before we rise again!Let us be optimistic & keep our faith as well as interest in the game!
Why should Sachin comes in team?
He 32years old now .
now he should not play the game . & if he play then what did he do? He
will be out by making 0or 2 to 10runs only.
thereis great change in him. 18yrs ago Sachin was a different batsman & now after 18 years he won't able to play similarly.
